Can anyone tell me if a d950 engine can be put in a b6100d tractor that came originally with a d650? Pretty new to tractors but it would appear they share the same casting (block), but figure may be differences in bolt pattern, output shaft, etc. Anyone done this?

Somewhere I read in this forum or another Kubota forum, that the 650,750,850 and 950 were all interchangeable. ....

Thanks, I will contact these guys for the info. I've heard it to be true, but don't want to pay for an engine that won't work for me. I appreciate your reply, anyway. ....
